Nokia 6620

Its a US version of the 6600 but has some advantages like stereo output and faster CPU and more: http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/6620/1,2803,feat:1,00.html

Basically it's:
GSM/EDGE/GPRS 850/1800/1900 MHz

So it's more the cingular wireless (since they now own att who deployed 850 in detroit IIRC) model. T-Mo said they weren't going to carry it, they might later, but that's what I was told a month ago. As they just bought up the western cingular network and the US carriers are diddling consumers by not having any decent sharing agreement in place I'd say it's only worth it if you're going to be in an 850 area.

For reference the 6600 is
GSM/GPRS/HSCSD 900/1800/1900 MHz

you get better service options in different countries, but you trade of EDGE w/ GPRS and stereo. If you get cingulars unlimitted datarate it's a good phone.

T-Mobile had plans to carry it worldwide but it is likely that they go for the 6630

(continued 2) The 6620 would have been a good choice a few months ago but with the 6630 nearing release it is unlikely to reach the shops in any appreciable numbers

In the design they have put ergonomics before aesthetics so it may look a bit duff compared to the 6620 , but otherwise it is perfectly OK
