how to chat?

when I want to sing on MSN or AIM messenger on ngage, do I have to connect to the internet and then sign on?

Say I want to open up a page, do I have to connect then open, or can I just straight up do it.

I will have t-mobile service.

Get AGILE MESSENGER or any other IM applications. I'm also on T-mobile and agile messenger works great for me.
