CSV Import of Addresses to the P900

Hi Friends

Does anybody know how to import CSV-Address-Lists to the Sony Ericsson P900 (Symbian OS) Smart Phone?

We have weather Lotus nor MsOutlook available, but a lot of adresses in CSV (comma separated values).

Your best bet might be to search the Internet and see if you can find a utility that converts CSV's to VCards. The P900 will accept Vcards.

Other than that, I'd duggest you get hold of a copy of Lotus Organizer (even if it's only temporarily), import the CSV to that and then synch with the P900.

Thanks

I have found some cool tool for linux to convert my CSV to VCards.

Now I have the next question: How can I import VCards into the P900 (Sony Ericsson Symbian OS Mobile Phone)?

The help only mentions Lotus and Outlook.

Any Idea?

Any way you want really. It should detect that it's a Vcard and ask if you want to add the contact to your contacts list. Bluetooth, infra red, the PC Suite, e-mail it to yourself, stick 'em on a web server and download them.

I take it from the above you're on Linux so you can forget the PC Suite. Bluetooth should work, depending on your flavour of Linux. I'd probably just e-mail the VCards to whatever e-mail account you have set up for the P900 to access.
