N6600 with RAS Server

1) I'm connected my 6600 and my PC via BT.
2) I've a RAS Server working fine.
3) I'm able to make a data call to my RAS Server.
4) The RAS Server will initiate and callback.
5) The problem here now is, once my RAS Server make a callback, I have no idea how to make my 6600 to answer the data call.

I've search through, but found that threads with no resolution. Anyone would have any idea about this?

Does anyone in here know about this?

I'm sure someone tried this before. Or is it my question is unclear? Please let me know if there is anything or any question.

Thank you.

The problem could also be your service provider not letting in certain protocols.

I am also personally using BT & the 6600 to connect to a RAS Server (ISDN, using HSCSD -> V120 at about 3-4kbytes/s but 700ms ping 😞 ). For me callback doesn't make sense because i pay less in this direction.

Outside calls could arrive as 9,6kbit GSM calls. In that case your RAS client should've setup the phone via at-commands to answer calls.

You can try to use terminal programs (i.e. ZOC or ...cough... hyperterminal) at each side for testing. On the nokia side you should be able to answer calls manually via the ATA-Command.

Google for : nokia at-commands and you find some resources (pdf etc.) for nokia-specific at-commands.

i am curious:how to answer an incoming call or make a call using a phone with at-commands?do you have a link or maybe a some code snippet to guide me in right direction?it will be nice to know how to send at-commands directly from app on phone to phone modem.
thanks.

I referred to accessing the phone from a pc via Bluetooth (should be the same via IR ). I don't know if it is possible to access the modem also from "inside" the phone as i have no programming experience on the series 60 platform.

The command for answering calls would be ATA
The command for dialling would be ATDT (number)

And here are two links from the google search i mentioned before:
