log & binary file viewer released - HView v0.4b

Hi guys&girls,

this is my little contribution to s60, anyway this is very small tool: a plain text and binary file viewer. I'm using it for viewing my logfiles and sniffing in some binary stuff in the phone. It's designed to use with some file-manager (like FExplorer, FileMan...).

Unfortunately my server with home page is down today, so I prepared other website for this proggy (you can download it there):

comments?

Hi,
just a while ago the newer version of hview (v1.12) was released 😉)

During my everyday usage of hview I noticed some annoying things that were missing:
- key 1: switch mode
- key 5: page up
- key 8: page down

actually I also changed version numbering 😉

HI slajerek,

looks like this could have a lot of potential. How do you integrate it into fmanager? Can we somehow add this to the Send To menu?

Hugh. Next thing I would like to add is ARM-disassembler, Unicode viewer and some file browser. Right now I'm using it with FileMan, just go to options and "Open with..." and then select HView. that's why I didn't incorporate any file browser yet.

Adding it to "Send to..." would be also nice. Unfortunately I do not have so much time lately to develop this app, maybe I'll prepare it as open-source project, who knows? 😊 right now I would not like to show it to the public - it's very ugly coded in hurry, but I'm cleaning it a bit ... (I just wanted to have some small app to show the log/bin files instead of standard Notes viewer) 😉

If you would provide me the code for file browser or adding to "Send to..." source I will incorporate it into the project immediately.
