Hei
My son just bougt a N-gage, couse he wanted to use the Realplayer feature.
But i dont seem to get it to work. I found out that the filetype has to be .rm, and now realplayer can see the file but dont play it, response is file is to big.. but its only 247 Kb.
Need i say that the mowie is on af additional memory card that is 128 Mb of size?
What is it that we are doing wrong?

Search the forum, there's a lot of topics about this.

But in short; the resolution of the clip should be around 176 pixels in width (176 x XXX), and the bitrate around 80-100 kbps. Helix Producer is a great program to fix the clips with.

Where can i find Helix Producer, and software in general, games and such?
😃

the program i use for encoding is canopus procoder that i downloaded from kazaa. Here is a step by step procedure on how to convert videos to be played smoothly and with good picture on the phone.

1.open CANOPUS and click on the add button and choose the video u are willing to convert

2.Click on target(on the left column of the screen) then "ADD", choose "basic" then choose "realvideo file"

3.now u need to apply the settings for conversion.
in "Target Audiences" select Dual ISDN
in "Target bit rate" choose 70.00
in "width" select 176
in "length" select 144
in "max. Frame Rate" select 10.00
In the AUDIO BASIC-menu in "Encoder" select "16 Kbps Voice"

4.go to convert and start converting

5.the modified video will be found in "my Documents" if the path is not changed

After the transfering be sure to restart your phone. the video will look very clear, be sure to select "high frame rate" in real one settings
enjoy 😊
