Bluetooth Problems

After having a bad time connecting my phone via Bluetooth, I went out and brought a MMC reader, which is absolutly great for transferring files, mp3's etc.

The problem is that when I have downloaded some software (go-boy) you need to install from your pc via pc suite. I came onto the forum and looked up bluetooth connection problems and found a guide (jon's guide) I followed this to the letter and now neither my phone nor pc will recognise any bluetooth devices.

Does anybody have any advice on how to configure bluetooth, I am using a generic usb bluetooth adapter via usb hub and the latest WINCOMM software.

Help!!!!

PS I have tried copying the file from the pc onto the card but when I open the card on the phone it's not there (although I know it is) :? :? :?

When files are transfered using a card reader they are stored in the root directory of the mmc and as such, 'Manager' will not reconize the file as its not in the installation folder.

You dont need pc suite to install files on your phone, you can just right click the file on the pc and "Send to/bluetooth/nokia 6600" the file will be recieved as a message which will then launch 'Manager' as a .sis file is detected in the inbox.

Obviously you will need to sort out your bluetooth first and for that i suggest you search the forum as 99% of all bt problems have been asked and answered already.
😊

Mark - the guide doesn't change anything on your phone. If you are having problems getting your USB device working, please post on the JonsGuides forum, and I'm sure we can get you up and running
