Reoccuring Calender Events

Hi,

I use Outlook 2000 to keep track of my work rota. My work rota loops every 6 weeks, but when I try and syncronise a 6 week reoccuring event to my Nokia 6600, the log says the software does not support this event.

Is there a way to change reoccuring events in Outlook 2000 so that they are on the same dates, but are single events with no reoccuring information connected to them? other than going through the entire year manually ofcourse.

Alternatively, can anyone suggest a better calender app that would support such events? Thanks.

Andy.

The first thing that came to mind after reading your post, was "how about putting the rota on the phone first then syncing it with outlook after?"

I donno, but still im guessing that you get the rota sent you through work anyway which means that you dont have to input the rota into outlook in the first place..

but still its an idea...

I recently bought a nokia 6600. firstly the mobile was getting connected to my laptop via infrared but the pc suite was not getting connected. now when i try to reinstall the pc suite it gives error ' component e connect, file group : common non registered (western). I dont know what is wrong.

If any one can help me.

Desperatly waiting for the reply.

It would take forever to put my rota for the whole year onto the phone manually, it would be bad enough doing it on Outlook using lots of non-reccuring events.

I get the rota on paper but it would be much easier if it was on my phone so I can check where I am on a specific day when I'm out, plus I'd like to use it as an alarm clock I never have to remember to set 😊
