not AAC, but there's an OGG player currently being written for A92x.

In it current state, it's kinda lousy. Mono only and files with bitrate higher than 64kbps stutter and crackle - HOWEVER - I do feel that it has BIG potential and if there are enough people who badger (politely ask 😊 the developer to keep working on it, we might get a fully working version.
OGG = 1/2 the filesize of MP3, but same sound quality
