Series 60 screensavers

Hi,

I am creating Series 60 themes but want to replace the default screensaver within the theme.

I have a standard animated gif that I want to use, but the screensaver insert section in the checkout phase of Theme studio requires a symbian file.

I have looked within the help and this says it requires a Symbian OS DLL file.

How do I go about getting a gif file into a Symbian OS DLL file format?

May be a baisc question but I am more of a designer than a coder!

To do this you need to write some significant code - a Symbian DLL (as the docs indicate), it's NOT a simple matter of file format.

If you really need it done and can't do it yourself let me know - I can get quality bespoke Series 60 development done at extremely low rates.
