Nokia LAM-1 GPS Module For Sale

3 replies · 2,979 views · Started 26 September 2002

This is one of the scarce in supply Nokia LAM-1 GPS modules for
the 9210 series phone.

Boxed, complete with manual, magmount antenna for in-car use, and the
TomTom CityMaps Europe and RoutePlanner Europe software.

For a review and pictures of both the GPS module and the software in
action see:

It is a great gadget that impresses anyone who sees it, but has had only
very light use here - no more than 12 hours max - as I wanted to try and
use it as an in-car satnav and phone combo, but then went and bought a
car with built in colour screened satnav and GSM mobile. Best use is for a
passenger doing the route planning, or as a handheld GPS when out and
about - you'll not get lost again anywhere in Europe. 😊

Expansys are currently quoting a wait of approx 4 days for stock to
arrive, and want 235 plus delivery charges of 4.20 for special delivery.

First with 200 *including* special delivery postage gets it, and I'll
post the thing off for next day delivery as soon as I get your cheque...

Bah, I want one........ Hopefully it's still for sale in a few months when I can afford it :-?

175 for a quick sale if you want it now.

My house looks like a GPS warehouse at the moment, I've got different systems falling off of shelves everywhere.

So why am I always wandering around looking lost?
