How do I start learning 9210 related programming

I am new to nokia platform. I want to learn about the nokia platform and specifically 9210. How do I make start?

I have got hold of the sdk. Where can I get some sample programs?

As you probably know there are two main ways to program the 9210.

First there is Java - this can be broken down into different sections. I don't know much about this, but I believe there are examples with the SDK.

For C++ I also dont know much, there are some example programs with the SDK and a further few can be downloaded from Forum Nokia (http//forum.nokia.com). I also recommend the newgroups of SymbianDevNet - you need to sign up with them and follow the link about discussion or similar.

As I said I dont know much about programming. I like to add a section to the site about it, but don't feel I know enough. Anyone like to help out?

There is also OPL, a BASIC like language which I'd recommend for beginners and on which I'll hopefully do a series. Unforunately the SDK for this is only available to professional (100 pa) members of Symbian DevNet, although it should be released shortly.

Hi,

For C++ I'd recommend going this site

http//www.cs.tut.fi/~eerola/download.htm

He's developed some simple examples which are a LOT clearer then the supplied examples from Symbian.
