Just a pointer to the fact that I've got one of these, boxed and as new apart from about 12 hours of testing, for sale over in the 'marketplace' forum.
Cheaper than Expansys, and you don't have to wait for stock to arrive either 😊

Just for your information, that there is also available another GPS module for Nokia 9210/9210i communicators.( Emtac, Crux II/NK92 ) And I think it is even better than LAM-1 module, at least the time to first fix (TTF) seem to be shorter. Also the ability to maintain connection in poor visibilty, seem to be better. And the last but not least reason to buy Crux II/NK92 instead LAM-1 is the lower price. 😊
Crux II/NK92 is available at least from Genimap.com web-store.

Well, seeing as the time to first fix on this LAM-1 is on average only 20-30 seconds, and it has never lost a signal during my testing (and that was without using the external magmount ant) I can't see there being much that anything else is going to beat it on.
Of course, the real big advantage for the LAM-1 is the fact that it is Nokia kit and not a third party.
And finally, as they say, mine is on offer in the UK - so nayone in the UK will get it more quickly and with less hassle than taking the import route via a Finnish website...
Not that I want to quibble, you understand 😉
