just got my 7650 put in the sim and battery, it's plugged into the charger now for 30 mins, no charging bars, won't switch on. Says in the manual it's ok to turn it on while it's charging for the first time as long as i leave it plugged in.
Also i notice in the manual it says that the sim and battery should `click` in, which they don't..... am i missing something?
try to take out the battery and then switch on the phone again
or if you have other battery try to use it

is charging fine now, phew 😃 ...
charger plug needed pushing in quite firmly, there must be some sort of sensor at the end, because im sure it was in far enough to make contact, it was pushed gently to the ened, just needed a firmer push.
anyways... 8)
