JSR 172 on Series 60 ?

Hi,

I am looking for some tutorials or starting points to implement J2ME web services (JSR 172) over Series 60 phones.

I checked out web services tool kit for mobile devices offered by IBM (http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/wstkmd/), but looks like I can't develop without WebSphere Studio Device Developer. Eclipse or NetBeans seems to be more appropiate choice for me, but there might be something better out there. I will appreciate if anyone can provide me some links or references to any tutorials or tools for the same.

Thank you 😊

The best you can use for JSR 172 development now, is Sun Java Studio 6 2004Q3 (based on NetBeans, but with special support for this JSR and for free) which includes support fro JSR 172 development. http://wwws.sun.com/software/products/jsmobility/index.html

Looks like... this is exactly what I was looking for !! Thanks a lot for directing me to this great tool. I would also like to know what kind of development you are involved in.

Do keep in touch. Thanks again.
