I just bought my Ngage QD and am a complete newbie to Bluetooth.
I have succeeded in pairing my cell with my pc, and the ports in use are 4 and 5. But, when i run Nokia PC Suite, it asks me to connect my cell to my pc first.
Nokia Connection Manager succeeds in finding my phone but for some reason gives an error when i click on Apply/ Ok after selecting my cell.
I can transfer files to me phone via the bluetooth dongle software but cant use Nokia Pc Suite. As a result of which all my files are stored on the Device Memory instead of the MMC.
Also, where can i download Nokia Multimedia Conveter. The link on Nokia Forums is practically dead since whenever i try to register it just shows a blank page.
I am leaving home for a week long trip to some boring place and wanted to load up some mp3s and maybe a movie on my N-gage QD for some entertainment. Its a shame I cant do it since i am leaving in a few hours. 😞
It would help if you could tell us the name of your Bluetooth-adapter.
I use a D-Link DBT-120 and I had a hard time finding the solution too. But here it is:

I get this error message when I click on Apply/Ok in Nokia Connection Manager after selecting my phone name and ANY of the listed ports.
"operation failed error code (8004360e)"
what does this mean? what do i hav to do to use nokia pc suite?
Is there any other software/way that i can use to send files directly to my MMC via bluetooth? Is there any replacement for Nokia Pc Suite?

i solved the problem...it seemed i just had to look for Bluetooth devices from my ngage qd...it found my PC...I then paired the two again...Finally i started a serial port connection from my Bluetooth Places (thanks, XEQT)...and voila connection established!! 😊

Driver Link is broken. Did you update the bluetooth driver ?
I just bought my n-gage the other day and I also have the same problem, I can pair my n-gage to my pc but I could not use the pc suite, in this case can I still install games on my n-gage?, or is there a solution to this problem? Please help :frown:
there are 2 things you could try....
1. Make sure that u install the bluetooth software before the PC suite software.
2. Make sure that on the computer you have the option to create a Bluetooth serial port between the n-gage and the computer.
When connecting my 6600 via IR through PCSuite I can browze files on the handset, install software to the handset and transfer images no probs. But when it comes to backing up I get the following error message when the progress bar gets half way across "An unexpected error occured. Please run backup again". When I do as it says the same thing happens again. I am on Win98SE and PCSuite 1.0.0. I can`t download PCSuite 1.1.0 cos I don`t have broadband.
By the way everything worked perfectly when I had my 7650. :con?

my pc suit says connect phone then hit ok, i hit ok and it never finds the phone...
Does any one know how to unlock your mmc card if u have forgotten the password
