Req: VirtualDub settings for creating SmartMovie vids

Have searched the net for a guide but some I've found are lacking and some are for other phones.

If anyone has the optimized settings for making SmartMovie vids for Nokia 6600 using VirtualDub, I would greatly appreciate it.

BTW. Can't use SmartMovie Converter

Hi,

I have spent ages and ages getting the best settings for making Smart Movie files using Virtual Dub.

So far the best I have come across is using the latest DivX Codec V5.2.0, set to portable mode, 176x208 resolution and 15fps.

Then use the settings file I have attached, this should set all the correct settings for you as long as you have the right codecs installed. Namely :
Lame V3.95.1
DivX V5.2.0

Any problems ask me and I'll try to help.

coolice, the settings worked! Just tried it on a Naruto episode I wanted to watch on my phone 😊

Hello,

Great and your happy with the quality of the clips?

I am still playing and trying new things as I go along, if you get an audio error at any time change the audio compression. I have found that the next one in the list with 10kbps normally works fine.

Have fun. I'm running out of clips to convert my end 😉
