hi there i have a nokia 6600 v4.09.1 and when i try to play wav files they sometimes play to the end aprox 3 mins long, but usually (9 times out of 10) it plays for about 5-15 seconds before stopping, the same thing happens if i set the wav as an alarm tune which is not usefull if it stops after 3 seconds, does anyone have similar problems or a fix for this? it doesnt matter if the file is on the phone memory or mmc the same problem occours. :banghead:

Re sample and save the wavs at 44100, 8 bit, mono and it will cure the problem. 😊
thanks for the info its seems to have helped i hadnt actually tried converting an mp3-wav myself i was just using pc suite to do it for me, but it seems that it is pc suite to blame,so thanks. i have noticed though that pc suite can make the wav file a lot smaller and the qualty doesnt sound any worse (althougth the phone wont play it). thanks again 😊
