Vague is the word that springs to mind ! dont think im being sarcastic when i ask ... but...

"Do you have a Blue Tooth Kit for the PC ?"

I have a msi 6869 mainboard with bluetooth.

i know now what the problem is. Windows XP says that the networkcable isn't connected, but it is really connected. XP detects there is no conflict detected and bluetooth and software/drivers are all correctly installed.

The MSI motherboard comes with Bluetooth! I dont think that he does not have a internal bluetooth chip!

Give us more details like error messages and what you do exactly.

Correct, u install PCI card with bluetooth and make a connection with the mainboard. So there is a cable between the PCI card and the mainboard, but is that the cable referred as the networkcable? I checked and this cable is properly installed.

I don't use bluetooth, but is there setting for an external and in internal bluetooth connection. It sound like its looking for bluetooth via a USB or Comms port. And your using a PCI card.

Just a thought.

Sounds more like a problem with the computer and the card, than the phone.
Have you tried looking for the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website? Quite often, you can find newer drivers to recently bought hardware due to the amount of time it takes to pack and ship the hardware to the shops.

If it still doesn't work, e-mail MSI about the problem.

Ok, i got myself a new mainboard, but now i have a new problem.

I turn on the bluetooth phone and search on the computer for new devices in MY BLUETOOTH PLACES.

You can see in the attachement that i need to push `search devices`, but i isnt possible. Did i configure something wrong=

Is it possible that the transceiving module doesn't support my nokia 7650??

For details on the transceiving module:
the only error message is: the networkcable isn't connected.
This is a common XP problem. Somewhere in the options of the device (the one that gives the error) is a option where you can deactivate the checking of the network cable.

I've had this same problem when using a USB network adapter
