hi all,

i downloaded and installed from the symbian freebie software rafe site the following: photocal and that stopwatch/timer application.

the trouble is when i open them on my 7610, they don't work...they literally close immediately after they have opneed? whats the problem?

thanks.

PhotoCal is an OPL app - have you got the run time installed?

If not there are some times problems between series 6 phones though the 7610 has been very good so far. You might try contacting the authors.

I used the software on an N-Gage when I wrote the freeware piece.

Hi Rafe,

Thanks for replying...

Where can i get the OPL app - will the one at: <http://opl-dev.sourceforge.net/oplseries60.html> do the trick without messing up my phone? And alos, when you say the 'run-time' what do you mean?

You're dealing with a IT person here...IT meaning : Information I lli T erate!
😊

Thanks in advance for any helpful info Rafe.

The runtime is what allows OPL program such as PhotoCal to run. The URL you mention is the correct one. I haven't tried it myself on a 7610, but I assume it will work.
