Remote S60 & 7610

It's working for me....here's what I did:
1) Right click your bluetooth icon in system tray and select 'Advanced configuration'. Choose Local services and see what COM port your pc offers to BT devices.

2) Open Remote S60 on the PC, choose File | setup. Click on 'serial' under 'connection settings'. Tick a check box and choose the com port as found in step 1.

3) Making sure no other bluetooth connections are active (stop and restart your bluetooth device to be sure), Start Remote S60 on your phone and choose options | Bluetooth | your device (or 'other.....' which will cause it to search for devices).

If like me you have WinXP and you hide your bluetooth icon in the system tray, unhide it and click on it and accept the prompt asking if you want to let the 7610 make a serial connection.

Hey, thanks for the reply. What version of Remote S60 are you using? I'm using 2.12 and under options theres only 'exit', no other options

I'm using Remote S60 Pro V2.12.030304. Under Options I have Bluetooth, Infrared, Network and Exit.

i cant connect too my 7610 with remote S60. can anyone else manage to connect? my BT is working when using nokia pc suite
