auto-adjust of screen brightness?

hi all,

Anyone seen any app that can auto-adjust the screen brightness according to ambient light conditions? I think this will be v gd. I've seen this app for Palm...

I wanna conserve batt and keep on low brightness, but can't see screen properly when out in bright sunlight.

Such an auto light prog has to rely on a light sensor- which the N7650 has. I doubt that there will be such an app for the 7610.

No. The upcoming 6630 has a light sensor.

hmm, ok i'm not that good with cameras but doesn't the 7610 also changes the white balance according to amount of light received by the camera?

doesn't that mean it can "sense" the amount of ambient light?
