does 7610 support mp4?

ok, ive downloaded an mp4 file, but when i try to play it on my 7610, it says that it is an unrecognized file format. now, ive searched hard and long for the answer to this problem, but am still not sure. i checked the nokia website and it said this:

RealOne Player
Download and play multimedia files (video + music)
Stream media files through any supported media portals
Played formats (decoding): .3gp and .MP4 file formats, MPEG-4 video, H.263 video and AMR audio, RealMedia (Real Video and Real Audio), MP3 and AAC

as u can see, it says that the realone player included in the phone can play .mp4 files. funny thing is, my phone came with real player, not real one and its version is s60.21.21.01 A. is this the problem? if so, wat is the latest version of realone or real player and which 1 is better? ive also read that i can get pvplayer to play .mp4 files, but which version do i get, the one for the 3650 or 7650?

There is often a problem with codec compatibility in terms of video playback; that could be the answer to the file not playing. However using Symbian software on the 7610, i.e. 3650 software should be fine as long as you have enough free memory.
