backing up 6600 msgs

Just wondering if there is a way of saving your messages from the nokia 6600 onto your computer. i have the nokia 6600 programme and its just odd how u can store all files from your phone apart from text messages.

i have messages i would like to keep but just wanted to know how i could do it

You may be able to use Oxygen Phone Manager for Symbian.

open ur sms,hold the pencil key,copy and then paste into a new note,send it to pc

MessageStorer has a problem...
It doesn't save caracters with accent in messages...
It puts a space inplace ..

i am using Message storer from symbianware in my 6600 and when i open a message as a text fils and want to send as a text message then it say "that messages will send in 6 messages" buct actually there are 2 messages as i see in the screen.
whts this problem.

maybe some binary code that the app notes add ...

I've been using MessageSaver since the days of my 7650! Great little app and it works well on the 6600 as well.
