I bought my QD yesterday, but something make me believe that it's defective. Can someone provide me a photo of the QD in the dark, with its light turned on? I think that some led are broken in mine.. thanks
ah also, it takes about 2 seconds to show me the contacts list... is it normal?
also, sometimes when it has the lights turned off, and i push a button, it takes about 1 second to get its light on...

Says in the manual that some pixels will be brighter or darker than others at random times due to the nature of the display.
2 seconds to show contacts is ok, if you have a REALLY long contact list. If not, you may need to backup your stuff and hard reset the phone, to clean the memory out.
Taking a moment for backlight to come on is normal. Its especially noticable when you pause an application, then unpause it after the backlight has gone off. You get used to it.

no, the screen is perfect, i was talking about key's light...
mm... the headphones makes a strange rustle, when it plays some sound, but the speaker don't make that...
My contacts list take a couple seconds to open also, ever since I've gotten the phone.

Are you talking about the directional keypad and the OK button? There are no lights for those keys. That is how nokia designed it.

Probably to lower the costs of production. The N-gage QD is the cheapest smartphone afterall.

I guess if you think about it, you don't REALLY need a backlight for the directional pad, considering that your thumb rarely leaves it, and as for the OK button, you quickly get used to where it is in relation to the navigational pad, so you don't REALLY need a backlight for that button either!

after i complain and angry with nokia product,,,,,and after 2 week my ngage-qd sleeping in service center nokia indonesia, i read all from this forum,,,that directional button desain without light,,
it's ok,,,and make me happy,,,cause i'am not got broken stuff.
