Basically, I have 2 problems (BTW, I am using the built in Opera browser and firmware version 5.25):
1 - 9210i browser does not show images on their own, eg www.domain.com/picture.jpg - just get a blank screen with a huuuuge scrollbar going down for ages. This occasionally happens with images embedded in HTML pages, but only very rarely, and seems to be more a problem with JPGs than any other format. It's almost like the phone isn't detecting the right MIME type for image files :?
2 - The browser seems to have trouble with a LOT of GIF images embedded in HTML pages - kinda screws them up (see screen grab below from Y@hoo finance page). This only happens with GIFs, so I guess it could just be a problem with the encoding of the file and whether or not it is interlaced? Incidentally, if I save the GIF and view with the 9210i's imaging app then all is fine :?
I've seen a thread about the 2nd problem but there was only the question and no solution. Just nice to know I'm not the only sufferer!
Hope someone can offer some useful information / solutions to these probs - even if it just to say that they are inherent faults with the 9210i's browser!
