I've loaded alot of mp3's on my 6600, and enjoy them in glorious mono. But to my dismay, I've noticed that even when i plug the headset in, the 6600's speaker keeps going. Rather emabarrassing when you're at the gym i might add.
When i go into settings/enhancement settings, you can choose from headset, loopset or text phone. Under headset the music is just through the headphones, but pathetically quiet. Under loopset, the music is nice and loud, but it also goes through the speaker. I'm using ogg player.
Any wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
cheers!
I use ultramp3 and I think it fixes it. I have mine set on "loopset" as well. I've tried mp3player and the sound comes out from the speaker as well.
And Oh, on some occasions after I receive a text message or a call when using ultramp3. The sound comes out from both earphones and speaker. I have to actually pull the plugs and plug it back in for it to work properly.
Cheers!

I think there's an ogg codec for the phone so you could use the ultramp3 player.
