When I receive a call, sometimes the ringtone you can appoint to one individual person works and sometimes the phone just rings with the general tone my provider built in. (not even the one I set as general ringtone). Can anybody tell me how I can fix this?

thanx for the link. indeed there is something wrong with the firmware, I called Nokia and they confirmed this. according to their contact center �Finland� is working on a software update to solve this problem, but that will not be available until late september. :frown: guess i�ll have to wait it out

If the problem occurs only when using a .wav as ringtone then try this...............
"This problem can sometimes occur by using a wav that has been sampled in stereo or at too higher frequency, open the wav you are using with a wav editor and save as- 44100 frequency/mono/8 bit and see if this helps."
This is a quote from myself in another thread and it worked for them so its worth a try.
