At the moment under my tarriff I can connect to local rate numbers 24/7 and they come under my *off peak* free minutes (which is nice), but it can't be too long before Orange cotton on to what is going on. So do any of the mobile operators with an ISP plan to make the ISP work in a FRIACO style with the mobile wing, hence an extra 5-10 a month gives me unlimited browsing/e-mailing time? Would be very useful and would help sell more expensive phones working people away from WAP (ha ha ha ha).

ps. As an afterthought why put WAP browser on the 9210 when it does WEB? That makes WAP far more of a let down.
But that would mean they would be offering you a good deal. They couldn't possibly do that!
Please prove me wrong though...

I've just joined Orange to get 28.8 speed. I've set it up with their suggested Orange.Net ISP, but as I'm paying BT for Free 'Anytime' I was wondering if it would cost less to call their 0808 access number (yes I know it won't be free, but anyone know if it is cheaper than Orange's own offering)?
I'm not even sure whether the 00808 number will work since it identifies the number calling and obvsiouly wont accept a mobile phone number. I may be wrong though.
0808 rejects you according to my friend who tried it on his laptop and attempted to connect at his mates house. They are set up for a specific phone number. Someone I know on Yodafone (couldn't resist it
) called an 0800 number once and they were charged premium rate, so be careful that you check your tarriff first. What happened to the old days where a local rate ISP had you ring a modem rack in your area? That would be much cheaper and more useful now.
