i dont like this! when i select someone from my contacts list it is shown just as the number...but i want the name to show. is it configurable?

I think this happens when you have the name\number on both the SIM Card and in the Phone's Contatcs DB. If you remove it from the SIM card, it should be okay. Easy way to check would be to create a new (ficticious?) contact and try it.

does anyone out there have a phone/firmware/setup where this shows the name of the contact, or am i stuck with the number showing? 😞
