Symbianware have updated their GPS navigation program to version 2 and added an impressive array of features. Intended for use with a Bluetooth GPS the program allows you to view information being received by the GPS unit such as location, direction of travel, speed, altitude and more. Furthermore the program will keep a record of points allowsing 'tracks' to be viewed (a record of where you've been). With accompanying PC software you can create maps that you can then track your progress on. PowerNavigation is a highly flexible GPS map program.

Please help me Rafe,

I am not able to load Map in Nokia6600 in your application PowerNavigation version 2.00 (Trial_version-1st day).
Map was created by Mapeditor v1 downloaded from your website and created Map has .pnmap format.
In Nokia6600 I created forlder /documents/PN/Maps and placed map here.
If application starts, No Maps info is diplayed and nothing happen if I give option Settings/Maps/Load . No maps I see only.

Are you able help me?
Thank you in advanced.

I share the same problem. I could not even create the folder. It seems that the maps have to be placed somewhere but the phone & the Nokia PC Suite do not allow reaching a folder called documents. Therefore I can not upload my map.

I solved it. create the folders on your memory card and put the map there.

I have successfully created the directory and loaded the map in PowerNavigation, but I can not see the map itself as in the screenshot.
All other modes work well.

Any thoughts?

Hi,

My 3650 actually lists the maps, but as I try to load one of them, the program gives a "system error". When I take a look at the MAP option again, it looks like the map is loaded, but it does not show up anywhere. More interesting is when I try to unload that map, the program crashes ("application closed"😉. In the case I tried to load the map and exited the program without unloading, the program crashes automatically every time I try to start it until I remove the map file from the directory.

I heard from a friend that he's been able to load the maps successfully. I just don't know what the differences may be between the two phones.

Any ideas?

BTW: Is it possible to debug what caused the system error?
