Wirelessly posted (Nokia N-Gage: NokiaN-GageQD/1.0 SymbianOS/6.1 Series60/1.2 Profile/MIDP-1.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0)

1. Find your network's WAP settings (Settings-->Connection-->Access points-->...) and write down the "Gateway IP address." 2. In Opera's advanced settings, switch "Proxy" to "on" and enter the gateway IP address (the one you wrote down) under "HTTP proxy host." 3. Enter "8080" under "HTTP proxy port." 4. Opera should now work fine, even when using a standard GPRS connection (this trick, commonly called the "port 8080 trick," will work in most cases)!

Opera needs to use an Internet Access Point (IAP). It will not work with a WAP GPRS or WAP HSCSD Access Point. Ask your operator for GPRS IAP settings for your phone (if they don't support the N-Gage, the settings are the same as for a 3650, 3600, 3620, 3660, Siemens SX1 or Sendo X).
