Cunning way to watch site / RSS feeds

This actually slipped out awhile ago but i forgot to mention it.

The site has an RSS feed for news. Gasp!

You can use software such as Feedreader to view this on your desktop (you can view loads of other sites too - well handy). It will even tell you when theirs a new headline - i.e. a new story.. You can get rss news readers for other os's to. I know the mac has a nice one for example.

The relavent URL is http://www.allabouter6.com/external/rss.php

If this proves popular I can add feeds for the forums too.

One thing - please use cahche - i.e. don't be checking for updates every 5 seconds - I'd like some bandwith left 😊

The reason I mention this now is that My-Symbian.info also has a feed for its news. See http://my-symbian.info/main/b2rss.xml

BTW you use these feeds in feedreader when adding a new feed.

You can also use these files to include headlines on your site.

I've been talking to Michal (webmaster of my-symbian.info about this) and hopefully by tomorrow (or next few days) you'll see my-symbian.info headlines on the front page of allabouter6.com and vice versa. Isn't co-operation wonderful?

No feedreader for the 9210 yet? I smell something for my Todo list 😉
Nice one Rafe 😉
Now I don't have to visit my-symbian anymore 😉)

Didn't Chris with the Forth Newsreader say he was working on an RSS reader for the 9210?
