I have my Sendo X since 24 hours (firmware 1.30.16.1 released 6 july 2004) and I have some remarks and questions :
a) I am unable to customize my Now screen. I can not add any app link (they are not displayed when added), and I can not able to create any favorites shortcuts. Opera is unable to add a shortcut and photo manager seems to be the only app to create shortcuts. Anyone experimenting this ? Any tip ? Any way to create manually web shortcuts ?
NB 1 I tried to have a look at Sendo developper web site but there is nothing useful)
NB 2 I tried toi edit manually existing shortcuts but can not undertstand the syntax
NB 3 Using appman or fileman for creating a favorite does not work
b) Battery indicator seems unreliable : my sendo went off when there was still two bar on the batt icon. Anyone experimenting this ? Is it isolated or related to a faulty battery ? Is it a first charge problem ? Are you happy with the autonomy of your sendo ?
c) Does someone knows the meaning of the P1/P2 icons on the status bar ?
d) Where can I get themes ? Are Nokia themes compatibles ? How to change the user interface color by example ?
Some more specific problems :
a) With my mac, Isync 1.5 works very well but Adress book integration (dialing and sms sending) does not : is it isolated ? NB Apple indicates it should work. On the contrary, adress book pictures should not work accordind to Isync doc but it does ...
b) There is numerous translation problems in the french version of the user interface
c) Citymaps does not work

The Nokia Themes do not work with the Sendo X, because the Nokia Themes are for Series 60 release 2 (also called "Series 60 Platform 2nd Edition"😉 and later. The Sendo X is based on Series 60 1.2s which didn't have the Nokia Series 60 Themes support.
Sendo can update that as well. They do have a license for symbian over at Nokia.
The thing is they said they were also working on other themes and even on a program to create those themes. So i'd say stay tuned 😎

a. As far as i understand it you can only add apps not URL's (haven't really tried to do that so let me know how you get on with it).
b. You should optimize the battery (detailed in user guide) by completing a full charge cycle then subsequent discharge/recharge cycles before the battery is at it's optimum strength. Also, try closing apps and switching off bluetooth when not using them to improve battery duration.
c. The status bar indicator relates to the profile currently active (e.g. P1 = General P2 = Silent etc.)
d. The Menu screen doesn't support themes (as mentioned by others) but Sendo are working on that (no timescales at present).
e. Don't know, contact Apple
f. Raise them with Sendo via their online support http://sendo.custhelp.com
g. Contact the content provider of this s/w and they will liase directly with Sendo.
