Killer WSOD

I realise this has probably been posted a thousand times on a thousand forums, but I am in a very sticky situation with my N-Gage and need help fast. I went to ring somebody, so went to the contacts menu, only for it to tell me the contacts database was corrupted. Assuming this was just Series 60 being its usual temperamental self, I figured a restart would solve it. I couldn't get back in. Each and every attempted startup produces the Nokia logo, which then pixellates into a white screen for a few seconds before switching off the backlight and showing the Nokia logo again, as if it had been switched off. No amount of battery removal will fix it, and yes it's on full charge. From what I've gathered, it's to do with full phone memory and normal procedure is to send it back to Nokia. However a few months ago I took a drill to the chassis so that I could use it as a phone flat against my face, rather than look like a complete muppet with its standard bizarre angle. I can't imagine my warranty would still be valid and therefore can't expect any help from them. Is there any other remedy? Maybe it can be wiped with some sort of magic data cable that doesn't need the phone to be powered? Help!

He, he...

Yes, I had drilled through the chassis. It doesn't look as though it shouldn't be there though, if I sent it back and were lucky enough to get someone who hadn't worked there long, I could possibly get away with it. But I'm not gonna. Am instead looking into flashing the phone.

well maybe it wont be fixed under warranty but take it to a ncs and try anyway
by the way do u talk on the ngage normal now?
and can u tell me where i can get a detailed way to do that?
i know that aas has a version of it but not too detailed

It might have been AAS I read it on, if it was anywhere else I don't still have the link I'm afraid. {edit: Yes I do, it's here.} It's warranty-voiding-tastic in a non-sidetalking sort of way.
