Ok heres the thing, i have a laptop. On the side of the laptop there is a slot. it has SD written on it. My 'The Sims Bustin Out' game fits in there, half way through when i put it through the light blinks. when i get it in properly and i hear a click. Nothing happens, i look on my computer to see if anything is there, nothing.

So does this mean it isn't a mmc reader or that it just cant read read only mmc cards?

Maybe its only for SD and Not for MMCs?

your not supposed to access those MMC cards :P
those have special protection to prevent from copying

you have to go and buy a BLANK MMC in order to put stuff on a memory card

It's most likely an SD only slot. My brother's gf has a Toshiba laptop with an SD slot on the side - I've verified that regular MMCs do not work in it (kind of a shame, since the difference between a regular SD slot and a SD/MMC slot is minimal, you think they would've gone with that).
