I am having trouble removing or even replacing the operator logo on my 6620 nokia. Even after setting a different logo through the "FExplorer" utility, it keeps resetting to the origonal AT&T WIRELESS logo. Annoying! Please help!
HELP! Need to remove OPERATOR LOGO!
anyone help?
Might be an operator specific firmware version where changing the logo has been disabled somehow. You can try finding a Nokia service center that will reflash the phone with a "generic" firmware version.
sweet thank you for the info. I think its an ATT specific firmware. I appreciate the help!
what mobile is it?
run fexplorer or seleq
go to c:\system\apps\phone\oplogo and delete the file thats in there
as easy as this.

On the att branded 6620 it dosnt matter whats in that folder...You cant change the logo...I use mine on TMO and Ive tried everything..oplogo, fexplorer, seleq, manually doing it...nothing works. Its one of those..OH WELL!
For all AT&T 6620 users, Ive finally figured out a way to change the operator logo. As you know AT&T is now Cingular. If you go to the network settings on the phone and change the operator selection to manual, you should have the option to select the Cingular network. After you choose the Cingular network, you should be able to change the operator logo (use FExplorer to set your operator logo). Enjoy your personalized logos!
