Screen of 7650 seems very fragile to scratches. At least mine...
Any miracle products out there that could restore some shine to the screen ?? 8)
Thanks

You could try those products which claim to fix scratches on CDs for a start. If they can fix a CD so the laser can read it I should think our weak little eyes would have no problems with it 😉
the phone should really come with a warning, to NOT remove the plastic protector from the screen when you get it.
And also Accessories for the screen like the screen protection plastic sheet jusy like the PALMs
Yeah im, very surprised they havent released something like this, I mean there phones are getting to the stage where there as expensive as PocketPcs, and PDA's they really need to look at ways users can protect them, because a scratch on the screen just ruins the device
i think usually the screen protector is made by 3rd party company
I dont like screen protectors! I dont have a screen anymore to put one on :-?
But I guess when its going to get repaired, I still wont put one on! I think it looks ugly! However, I suppose the screen protectors from PDAs work just fine with a little DIY!
Well my take was that screen protectors are essential. But they are so darn difficult to get.. try www.c2ocity.com ....
But after enquiring about a new nokia case replacement (14$) .. I dont think it is worth the search for a screen protector.. so I ripped the one off and started using the phone.. when it gets scratched enough I will drop in to NSC and ask them to replace the case..
Agree, totally! $14 is nothing! So lets start throwing the 7650 around! 😃
wow
it;s just $15 how cheap is that
btw if u buy a new case maybe the case will not fit perfectly on the phone
i mean that some 7650 will make a sound creack crick like that if u press both side of the case
Yeah mine did! But I noticed it a couple of days after I got my phone! 😞
Even that of my girlfriend does! 😞

Great idea, that never crossed my mind. Thanks, I'll try it.

I agree with you 101%. I've also warned my friends not to remove it.
Those who have and used those official Nokia screen protectors have noticed that the original screen protector is still better as in it is still clearer to read the screen even during the longrun.
WTF???
You serious I can get my Case replaced for a povvy lil $14??/
you fucking serious, is that all it is????
Well if you dont like it you could leave a Tip or something 😃
Yeah Sure ! Atleast thats the price qouted by the service guy.. it is 700 Rupees (Indian) ~ 14$US... (It might be cheaper still becos India charges a lot of import duty)..
Enquire.
Maybe I will start a new thread discussing pricing of various spares ...
For those that removed the plastic cover (like me in the first 10 seconds 😃) this is a cheap and not too bad solution.
Use the CD protection covers - I got CDefender from PC world (think they are about 1 each) with a bit of DIY you can get four 35x42mm pieces out of each one. not even that tricky to apply.
