7610 missing stuff

Just wanted to ask as someone mentioned in a thread earlier, has anyone else bought a 7610 only to find there are no games installed and it is also missing the 'Try and Buy' folder? I've just got mine on contract with T-Mobile (UK), i thought it might be something to do with t-mobile branding the h/set but apparentley nokia does the branding for them. Anyone know if all 7610's are packaged this way or is it just on certain networks? 😎

nope, thats normal - i had a virgin like 7610 handy without any brandings - no games or whatsoever either.

I haven't heard about anyone (who owns a 7610) that doesn't have those two games missing (Snake EX and Mix Pix).

But then again, someone extracted the Snake EX game from the 6600 .. and can be installed on the 7610 manually now

yep, most, if not all, 7610's dont carry these games...but thats not really a problem is it...its very easy to take snake from 6600 and install it on the 7610 if needs be...

any recommed links to download free java games or ngage games?

Hi, you might wanna try one of these links here

http://www.nokia-asia.com/nokia/0,,59435,00.html

They all pretty much freeware which means you can get'em for free. Most of them are just Symbian games though. Unfortunately, if you want Java games for ur mobile then you would have to buy and download. IF you want NGage games for 7610, you'd have to do a research and find them for yourself. I don't think you can post anything in the forum about NGage games that you can download for free.

Rudyn 😉

If I get games off these sites, how do I get them onto my phone using the Nokia Phone Suite??

I've got the suite working perfectly, but I can't work out how to get the games on!!

Any help would be cool.
