How is the N-gage as a phone?

I've been assuming I'll want a Logitech Bluetooth Headset so I don't have to get used to "sidetalking". But I don't suppose I'll want to wear that headset all the time, just in case a call comes in. And what if it's recharging? Then I'm stuck answering the phone with the "handset".

So while I may try the "mod" of adding a hole to one of the alternate phone cases (I'm looking at a few on Ebay) I might buy... how is the sound quality, feel, and useability of the phone (non QD)?

Honestly, the sound is the best I've found. The only reason sidetalking sucks at all is because of people asking "WTF is that?!" all the time.

Gotcha. Looked at Best Buy and CompUSA earlier. Didn't find any at Best Buy, and though CompUSA had one on sale for $50, it just didn't seem to have features that the Logitech or Jabra units that are recommended have.

Think I'll give it a try how it is, and go to the Logitech Bluetooth unit later if I feel I need it. In the meantime, I picked up a Dazzle 8-in-1 memory card reader for 1/2 price at CompUSA. $30 down to $15 instantly in store. So I'm looking forward to getting my N-gage and 512MB Kingmax card soon! 😉

Thanks for the info!
