Hi all,
I did a factory reset yesterday and now when ever someone leaves a voicemail thie icon doesn't appear..worked fine before the reset...any ideas?

You may wanna do a full restore from your PC suite's Phone backup....

If a full restore from your BACKUPs, then I may suggest you bring the phone to your nearest SE centre for a repair.... sorry dude. :frown:
You could always try a firmware fix on the SE update site?

Firmware fix ? Do you mean updating the firmware from a SE service center ?
I had a look at the SE website and found nothing about updating the firmware.
I think ill call orange and get them to de-activate and then re-activate the answer phone..maybe that will work.

Definitely worth a try.

It is supposed to allow you to just re-flash the firmware you already have. That way, if there is a problem with the firmware, this should fix it.
I think Bassey is confused with the P900. You can update the P900 yourself, but with the P800 you can't...

Yeah can't do it on the p800.
Is there any voicemail software available instead of having to use the network voicemail.
I remember some software on the Nokia phones that did this and just saved the voicemail to the phone?

Nope unfortunately not! I wish there was such piece of software too, but unfortunately not 😞
