I've just purchased a n-gageqd,but I am completely new to these type of gaming phones and herein lies my problem!I also purchased a 128mmc and a usb mmc reader,and I thought it would be a simple case of downloading trial /free games ,transfering them from my computer via the reader onto the mmc card,and away we go...wrong!!I've successfully downloaded both free trials and transferred them onto the mmc,however when I insert the mmc nothing happens,similary when i go into tools/games..nothing..its as if there is no applications on the card..What am I doing wrong?Is there a programme I need to install to play these games?Any advice would be very much appreciated..

Launch the "Manager" application from the phone menu and select the programs/games that are installable and install them using "Manager". More instructions about that in the User's Guide.
Unless you have a File Manager on your N-Gage, you won;t be able to find the SIS files you;ve downloaded. HAve you got Bluetooth on your PC? If you have, make a connection (eg to sync the handset to Outlook) and while connected, double click the SIS file you downloaded.
If you can get FExplorer (http://www.gosymbian.com/) installed on the C:/ (internal memory) then you'll be able to browse the full file structure of the MMC card from the N-Gage, find the SIS (and JAR) files, and select and install them from the device.
The key is to get the File Manager installed.
"Manager" on my N-Gage "classic" finds .sis & .jar files from the MMC root (without having to use a separate File Manager).

No, you don't need it. It is related to running illegal, cracked copies of N-Gage game cards.

hi guys..can neone help me out . my ngage is hidin some of my game icons. its installed as seen in fexplorer......when i restart the phone it comes...but sometimes they again go off again after some time...plz help
