😮 Just got the phone and whenever I try using taking a pic with camera I either get "App.closed - CamServerCore !" msg followed by 'System Error' or the phone freezes and needs to be switched off. The video function works a dream - faulty phone ? faulty software ? is there anywhere I can download updated driver/software/firmware ?

You can try reformatting the phone; have a fully charged battery or the phone on AC, and then some finger acrobatics: power off the phone, press down the green/talk key + the '*' key + the '3' key, while these keys are pressed down, turn the power on & release the keys when the formatting starts.
Note: All data (contacts, messages, settings, bookmarks, pictures) you may already have on the phone will be gone (after the operation the phone will be in pretty much the same state that it was in when it left the factory where it was made).
If that doesn't help, locate your nearest authorized Nokia service center (or go back to the retailer or operator you bought the phone from) for (warranty) repairs.
or...u can format the phone with the old *#7370# you will lose you app's reg keys, but not everything off your rs mmc...but before you do that...try removing your memory card and then using your camera...
