App closed: main

Hello,I have some questions.First, sometimes when the phone is in standby mode suddenly a message "App Closed: Main" appears. When I press ok,the message disappears and the phone doesn't crash,it continues to run without a prob. Can you tell me what the cause of this is?My second question is: Do several full phone format can lead to gradual MMC corruption?I have formated my Nokia 6600 5-6 times till now.and I am afraid that further formats can damage the MMC.

Thanks in advanced 😊

my phone often quits like you say, usually because i force it to do too much, or things it shouldnt!

its never done it from stand by, however if im installing something, and i dont press anything, when it goes to stand by, the app closed thing appears, so i have to move the joystick every few seconds so it doesnt sleep while im installing, or using software.

so, are you using software in the back ground?

press and hold the blue key under the green 'answer call' key on the left of the phone.
a listof open apps will appear. you SHOULD only have the telephone there.
if u have more, then that is running while you dont realise, and will be the cause.

how many times can you record over a tape or rerecordable cd? answer.....thousands and more with 0% degredation. same for mmc

I doubt about the tape😉 But actually I solved the problem.I searched through the forum and I found a post about it😉It was explained that this prob appeared when the Phone was shut down when there is a running app.Well as u tell me I checked if there was only "the telephone" in the task manager. However,I decided to check it out with appman...so I went to the section "running processes" and I noticed a process that is not System process. The exe files was situated in E:/system/programs ... The threads info showed "Main;..."I saw the time this file was installed, and started to search which program I installed at the same time.It was Camera FX.I removed it,and the exe file disappeared. Now I have only system processes running (when there is no opened app) and have never experienced the "App closed: main" problem😊.Now I regularly check if there are only system processes running😉 I made the conclusion that the task manager as not as efficient as the task manager of windows XP for example. It shows u the running apps, but doesn't show the proccesses (not the system ones) that are running too.So I find there is a great use in using such apps as DevMan and AppMan.I personally prefer AppMan😊
P.S to ghostdog: I bought 'm 😊

Doing a format will not affect the mmc at all, only the internal phone memory is formatted. 😊

actually reformatting ur mmc frequently is good 4 ur mmc's health.........n plz don ignore if u get app closed main thingy.......some file sharing ur fon memory is fukking up ur fon...so just reset ur fon.............

So elegantly put...!!! 😉
