Voicemail Issues with T Mobile

Hi all,

Just thought i would post a message to alert users that the Nokia 7610, when connecting to Voicemail using the T Mobile network, will send you a text message
that once opened will just display the letter "D".

This is not a huge fault and T Mobile are aware of the problem, its just annoying especially if you recieve alot of voicemails.

In conjunction with Nokia a "over the air" sim update will be launched to solve the problem in the immediate future.

Keep it Real!!!

Dave

i was suffering from same prob but one more was
i did not recive any incoming calls execpt T-mobile

so i swap to Vodaphone

T-mobile was saying that u r using an asian version
somhing like that

Hi,

I called T-Mobile today to report the same problem!

At first the lady on the other end "seemed" to understand the problem, she put me on hold and contacted the handset department.

When she returned, she told me that i'd receive 2 service messages which I should read and then delete. Then turn off the handset and on again. And then at that point I should receive a third message which should then correct the problem.

Well!!! after receiving the first two messages, I did as instructed but once I'd restarted the phone, the third message never arrived.

I contacted T-Mobile again, but this time no one seemed to understand what I was talking about.... so i'm back to square one.

Has anyone had any luck resolving this problem??

Cheers,

Steve.
