i am a newbie here...
i have been having some trouble with my new N-Gage QD
i use a Bluetooth Dongle to transfer files from my PC to my Cell...
the problem is..
say when i transfer a .SIS file which is big(in size)....i recieve that file as a msg...(on my cell)
but the message gets stored in the device memory.
now ....when i click on that msg....the .SIS file gets stored in that App. Manager.(again in the device memory)
after deleting the bluetooth transfer msg from inbox...i try installing the app ...it sayz Low memory....in short there is not enuf device memory..
i have a 256mb MMC .....if i have less space on my device mem. it gives me an error and doesnt let me install on the MMC....please guide me on how to install it directly onto my MMC or run the .SIS file directly from my MMC
also i wanted to know whether i can transfer that .SIS file directly to my MMC thru bluetooth.../?? how ??

Problems with File Transfers on QD (thru Bluetooth)
as far as i know u need a mmc reader to put anything on that mmc. I might be wrong but its the only logical solution i can think of. and im sure once u get a reader if u dont already have one u can put the .sis on there and then just stick the mmc in the cell and go from there. Again i might be wrong but thats my 2 cents....
Connect to your ngage with bluetooth.
If you haven't installed PC Suite for ngage, install it.
If you have PC Suite you'll be able to double click the .sis file in explorer and it will start to install on the device, you'll be able to choose the correct destination.
You can also use pc suite to transfer the .sis file to your mmc over bluetooth and install it using the phone
k....the prob is .. PC Suite supports serial Bluetooths...
where as i have a bluetooth which is connected to the USB port
is it possible to transfer files from it?(thru the bluetooth obviously)
yo, it means you have to creat a virtual serial port connection to your QD using your usb, not a litteral Serial Bluetooth dongle
all you have to do is create a virtual serial port link from your qd to bluetooth, then mrouter, which is installed when u install the n-gage pc suite, will do the rest

Can anyone help me with creating a avirtual connection. I have the same problems and donno how to create a virtual conn.
