6600, iSync, and Custom Fields from Address Book

I know that I managed to synch another device with Outlook and there was a utility to define which field should go where when the two fields did not match. But I can not see how to do that with a Nokia 6600.

I just tried putting in a custom field in the Nokia (I put in a field called "my number" and then synched and the field turned up in Outlook as "Other"

Click on the down arrow in one of the fields to see it.

So that was OK.

Next I created a user defined field in Outlook called "Good in Bed?" and filled it in for a contact "No" and synched again. This time there was no attempt to put thios info on the Nokia, so I would say it can not be done.

Yes that was possible, e.g. with Intellisync for Nokia 9110 (synchronization module in PC Suite for N9110), the best sync program I've ever seen. You were able to configure almost everything, including the field mapping. PC Sync has fixed field mapping.

Well, internally, this PC Sync "sees" USER1 and USER2 fields (not USER3 and USER4), store them internally as X-Dash items, but doesn't include them into mapped fields. The same situation is with Assistant and Spouse fields.

But - which field in N6600 you would like to synchronize those fields with? With Note? Or - the Phonenumber?
