Is there a maximum limit to storing messages on the 6600, even though the memory is set to the MMC, after a certain amount of messages I get a msg saying that inbox is full, delete some msgs ?????
Also can msgs be saved to the pc using a usb and can any files be transferred from the pc to the phone or is it limited to just pics and mp3's or sound clips or certain formats

I believe it has a limit of 200 text messages unless you start moving them to your own folders.
hi Guys,
I think OXygen for Sambian is doing that facility. It can sychronize all your msgs, contacts, pictures and all stuff in your mobile. You can have all that feature after payment for the licen. Just visit :

I wish you good luck.

Hi, I've already got more than 500 msgs in the inbox and more thant 750 in the sent box simultaneosly..
I don't know the inbox limitation, but sent can be configured in Messages > Settings > Other > No. of saved msgs.
The messaging becomes slow when you have lots of msgs stored...
It is very very slow to delete around 300 msgs...
..
Once a month I use an app called MessageStorer to save my msgs in plaintext ..
To transfer a msg to your phone, you just create a .txt in your computer, transfer to the phone... In the phone it will open using notes, so you copy and paste to the message you want to send...
Hope it helps...
Thats sounds good .. Do you have the site to download it from cuz I wanna try that
take a look here ..

I always save all messages in a .txt before erasing them.. 😊
