I have a dual sim module which allows me to have two sims fitted to one one. On my 6310 I can hot-swap the sims by entering #3370#. However, I can't get this code to work on my 7610 and have to physically switch off the phone and reboot to access the other sim. Any ideas how to hot swap on the 7610 without a reboot?

Dual Sim ... How that works ..
There are a number of ways of operating a dual sim configuration. There are batteries which also have two sim slots and a thin ribbon cable with a mock sim card that connect to the phone. These are bulky and you sacrifice battery capacity to make room for the circuitry. Alternatively there is a kit which allows you to "hack up" two sims (the surrounding plastic is not necessary) and fit the metal sim parts into another special sim base which then fits directly into your phones sim slot. This second method is more fiddly to set up but takes up no extra space than the original sim card. Unfortunately, in all cases, only one sim can be active at once and you have to switch between the two. It's ideal if you have a business account and a personal account and only want to lug one phone about. I've just changed my number but have kept my old number on Pay-as-you-go.
Most of the dual sim solution are available for less than a fiver on eBay...
hi guys! kinda new here can you please help me on how to unlock my phone to its current network? i cant use another sim by another network. thanks.
I'm Thinking of buying a 7610 phone...
I also would like to have 2 sim cards inserted in it, but I have one question, if someone knows this:
Is there any way to have the sim cards active at the same time in one phone?
I mean, not having to turn off to switch...
Imagine this... I have 2 sim cards, one is 96 the other is 93...
is there a way to be able to receive calls in both numbers in one phone at the same time??
Not possible on any GSM phone that I've ever seen or heard of.
I believe that the Daewoo DX30 is the first DualSIM phone.
