Where do you guys copy music to on your 3650, no matter where i put it i cant find it on my phone, It is showing up in file manager on the pc ok, but cant find in phone, is there a pc program that actually shows you "All" your folders on your phone.
Thanks.

Bear in mind it will depend what format the music is in. Without the aid of any third party software, the phone will only play AMR, MIDI and WAV formats.

Place your music files in the Sounds\Digital folder of your memory card. Then you can access the files by going to Menu > Extras > Recorder.

If you want access to the entire file system of your mobile I suggest you install something like FExplorer. It allows you to browse the RAM, ROM, FLASH and DISK drives of your mobile, giving you similar functionality to windows.

Yup Recorder can only play midi, wavs and amr, and also hbde, if you use fexplore and found the MP3 file, you still need a Third party program to associate the files with, I mean to play the mp3 files with. Use the new real one or use Ultra Mp3, better for free, use Ogg player and convert your mp3s to .ogg using dbpower amp. Search the forum as well for other answers. 😉

Thanks guys, i have tried ogg player but when i try to install i get the message "Wrong phone type" i have ultramp3 and it seems good with the first mp3 i loaded, i then put a second one on but when i try to play it just plays the first one again lol.
What pc program do you use for copying mp3 to the sounds/digital folder.
Thanks.

Make sure you have the latest version of OggPlayer. Later versions may incorporate support for an extended range of phone models.

I would have thought the most straight-forward software you can use is the Nokia PC Suite that should have come with your mobile.

If you are trying to transfer obscure filetypes though (OGG's for example), then you'll have to turn of the file converters under the Control Panel tab, otherwise PC Suite will automatically convert to WAV.

Once you load up PC Suite you should see two panes. The upper pane is used to select the file you wish to transfer, and the lower pane is used to select the directory/location you wish to transfer the file to. Be sure to select the Memory card from the far left before clicking on the transfer button (the arrow in the middle of the screen). You can then select the Sounds folder, followed by the digital folder. From the upper pane, select the relevant file and hit transfer. Away you go.

Try to rescan the whole system again so that your added mp3 will be visible.
